Yeah, that's what I find interesting. Instinctively I care more about the elderly than children. Maybe it's because I believe that under normal circumstances many children have a lot more time and their whole lives ahead of them. Many are also spoiled, yet disregard that and demand more and more. On the other side, the elderly are usually pushed into various institutions, abandoned by their families, to slowly rot away in loneliness, until they die. Fair enough if they never had any offspring or family to take care of them, but otherwise I find it repulsive...

Anyway, I was just trying to understand a little how people react to victims and age. See, there are various threads throughout the site about this and that. There are a lot of rekt threads where people laugh at the suffering of others, unless it's children or animals. I find the lack of compassion IN GENERAL, FOR EVERY AGE GROUP, not just kids and animals, very fucked up.
