I think gay marriage is degeneracy, and I want to vote no to uphold traditions and respect the religious people who value marriage more than secular people. Question is: why we should uphold this tradition and why is gay marriage degeneracy?

Some common arguments:
>Slippery slope argument
>You give them an inch, they want a mile
>Gay marriage, LGBTQ+ programs, postmodern theories on gender etc are degenerate, all being signs and causes of civilisational decay.
>Religion
>Marriage is between a man and a woman - argued using religion or tradition (producing children, obligating partners, security etc) - which can now be disputed, at least partially.
>Gay people only want marriage, or like the thought of marriage because of tradition. They don't need marriage, nor does it serve any real utility for same-sex couples except as a 'sign of love and commitment'. Why do they need to marry to show their commitment?
>If there are any legal differences between de-facto gay couples and heterosexual married couples the laws can be changed for equality, thus removing much of the 'equal rights' argument away from pro-gay marriage crowd.
>Marriage isn't a right, its a tradition.
>Gay people have little to no point in getting married aside from doing so as a display of love and the opportunity to throw a big party for one night.
>Reactionary: to piss off liberals and deal a blow to their agenda - probably the underlying motive for me.

Are any of these even logical? Anyone have other arguments against gay marriage, or wants to adapt/expand on any of the above?
