THANK GOODNESS we still have enough free market capitalism in America that thousands of people rush to disaster areas to help those in need. The government is but a small part of the assistance, churches and civic groups and individuals all pitch in and do their part.

Storms still happen, but the few that die in the storm are the only deaths. Nobody dies of starvation or exposure once the storm has passed.

That is because we're not an authoritarian, socialist, communist shithole. Well, we are, but our destruction of all that is best in America isn't quite complete. Still a bit of freedom and prosperity left.
