I am having a hard time reconciling the fact that, in order to go to Heaven you have to submit entirely to God's every whim.

God gave us the mission (and previously, the Israelites) to spread God's word. If there are people unsaved in this world that we could not reach, then that is our fault. Originally, the Israelites were going to bless all the nations of the world, but they failed, and Christ instead said to the apostles to spread the messages across all of the world, and today most of the world knows about Christ.

In my experience, people who had a really good idea usually sound lunatical at first.
