I remember reading opinion articles by European intellectuals on how "Americanization" was a problem however, their idea to counter it was to increase Anti-American sentiment in their nations as a way to shame it away. It would have be more productive to petition the government to stop importing burger trash media and faulty left-wing ideology but instead they embraced it. Now they're reaping their fruits of their labor, i.e. scraping up their neighbors from the asphalt and telling their own women to stop wearing perfume and showing leg because those "innocent and precious Muslims" were merely victims of the "Imperialist America" and cannot control their urges.


I would feel sorry for Europeans but then I log onto plebbit, 9gag, tumblr, Facebook and all the sympathy and pity goes right out the window.
