Houston got hit with a double whammy and a hurricane that exploded. No one ever expects the next hurricane to be bad. After all no one expected Katrina to devastate new orleans the way it did until it was too late. So far I think Houston will fair better and mass evacuation only a day before on Houston's traffic schedule is insane. Everyone made the right call this time but people died because of turn around don't drown and a few people thought attics are safer then roofs. Thankfully the death toll won't be in the 1000s like Katrina. People are in trouble but the city will rebuild, there is alot more economic development in Houston vs new Orleans.
