the difference between EU antifa and US antifa is the following:
EU antifa consists mostly of middle to upperclass people which enjoy a rather large support by certain political parties, NGOs and the media. They have a rather large play room due to their supporters and are often displayed as being pacifists, despite being everything but that.

US antifa consists of lower class scum, that only has support from other antifa groups. Without support by the media, political parties or NGOs they are simply thugs that will not have any success of enticing their political views onto the local population.
