They are not like muslims who follow their holybooks from a to z. Christians in the west mostly sees the moral rules in the bible as historical curiosities because they believe all their sins will be forgiven as long as they believe Jesus is some sort of man-god. And most christians these days don't actually believe that anymore.Christianity in the west are basically atheists who go to church for social reasons.

For example when musicians here in Norway burn down churches then no christian goes "It's a holy place, it's a place of worship" they go "oh no! It's our cultural heritage" or other secular reasoning because nobody goes to church anymore except when they have concerts (even with the type of musicians who burn churches).
