I honestly think that most people just watch it now because its popular. There was nothing in it originally that would have enticed the average normie. I remember I got into the first season after reading the books, I just found out almost accidentally that HBO was coincidentally making a show about the books that I had just read, so I knew I was going to watch it. The first season was really good and so it gained quite a bit of attention in the mainstream, and so the normies began to flock to it to see what the fuss was all about. If you recall, in the earlier seasons the show was actively triggering to many normies, with the incest, the constant rape scenes, the "unnecessary nudity for the poor female actresses", and so on and so forth. George R.R. Martin may have some slight feminist leanings but his is of the older kind, the earlier waves, so if it hadn't been done through the lense of the even worse modern form of feminism, we may have at most ended up with some "queens" but without all the "girl power" nonsense. The show is still entertaining, the acting is good, the cinematography and CGI is all good too. Some of the characters are pretty red pilled desu.
