HOW TO BLOCK GOOGLE ON YOUR COMPUTER ON VISTA AND WINDOWS 7:

1. Go to your Windows folder.

2. Go to the the following folder:

Windows\System32\drivers\etc

There you'll find the "hosts" data file

3. Open the file with the Editor as Administrator and add this:

127.0.0.1 http://www.google.com
127.0.0.1 www.google.com
127.0.0.1 https://www.google.com
127.0.0.1 google.com
127.0.0.1 http://www.gstatic.com
127.0.0.1 www.gstatic.com
127.0.0.1 https://www.gstatic.com
127.0.0.1 gstatic.com

4. Overwrite the "Hosts" data after you secured a copy in another folder.

You can block every given site, just repeat the IP 127.0.0.1 and then add the internet adress you want to be blocked.
