Just as people live in areas that experience other natural disasters such as tornadoes, tsunamis, typhoons, earthquakes, and volcanic eruptions, the people who live in areas affected by hurricanes do so knowing the risk and either evaluating the risk to be worthwhile for what they profit living there, or are unable to move to a lower risk area.
Aside from being needlessly cruel, it is also entirely pointless to wish suffering upon another person. Most people affected will have insurance for their posessions, so the only real damage will come from sentimental items or individuals who were unable to be evacuated safely and become casualties, in which case they also have health insurance, so basically, you are the old man yelling at a cloud here with your post. Spouting nothing but blind anger towards strangers you will never meet, you will find no approval from me.
