Problem is to have a succesful /pol/ settlement, /pol/acks would need to accept and ally with their generally more rational "alt lite", libertarian, and ancap cousins. Separating practicality from idealism is a skill many /pol/acks lack.

Sometimes I think that this might be the future - if the United States were to balkanize (which I pray it does not) it seems to me that small, technologically advanced self-sustaining communities that incorporate solar power, vertical farming, arms manufacturing, 3D printing, crowd-sourced homeschooling based around the heritage/faith/whatever of the residents, a decentralized local internet, cryptocurrency partnered with local industry, and so on.
I don't know if that's a dystopia or not, but it doesn't seem out of the realm of possibility anymore.
