For me, I could stand the Pope's degeneracy, and I could even try to ignore the child abuse. The straw that broke the camel's back was when the Pope last year replaced the leader of the Sovereign Military Order of Malta, also known as the Knights Hospitallier. The faggot bitch Pope essentially ended the sovereignty of a thousand year old ley order that has never answered to the Vatican, thus destroying the last of the ley orders. Now who will defend the faith?

Currently going through the steps of getting married, Lad. Nearly every priest I've heard in Barcelona "Jesus would want us to have more refugees, if they commit violence remember we must forgive, we must turn the other cheek". Not exactly Deus Vult.

I held out huge hope for Benedict the 16th. Francis is not European, and has been brought up with an anti-colonial mindset. Even though I feel ill when I say it, he has completely allowed his bias to take over. It genuinely pains me.

I'm even looked into Orthodoxy, but for now will remain cucked.

Seems logical for the Christians to want to help refugees

When a foreigner resides among you in your land, do not mistreat them. The foreigner residing among you must be treated as your native-born. Love them as yourself, for you were foreigners in Egypt. (Leviticus 19:33-34)

He defends the cause of the fatherless and the widow, and loves the foreigner residing among you, giving them food and clothing. And you are to love those who are foreigners, for you yourselves were foreigners in Egypt. (Deuteronomy 10:18-19)

Do not oppress a foreigner; you yourselves know how it feels to be foreigners, because you were foreigners in Egypt. (Exodus 23:9)

No stranger had to spend the night in the street, for my door was always open to the traveler (Job, discussing his devotion to God) (Job 31:32)

When someone needs help, they should get it.
But it isn't help when we are being erased, and they are economic migrants.

Christ said "the poor will always be with us". We need to help them develop, in their own countries as much as possible. We need to support our own poor people get off the streets. We need to focus much more on what we, as Catholics are capable of doing ourselves.

The notion that we have to give everything we have, and and everything we have to the migrants is as fanatical as any crusade.

When people talk about church leaders affecting how they view Catholicism I find St. Augustine very helpful. He was in a debate with a man who thought only the morally excellent could be priests. Augustine's response, quickly paraphrased, is that it is the the grace administered during the sacraments and the authority of the doctrinal teaching does not come from the moral excellence of man, but from God.

You have mixed up priorities to deny a 2000 year old institution and its worldview because of its current leaders.

While not an exact comparison, think of it as being a nationalist while having a shitty president.
>>
>>138960247
>He is changing the path of the Catholic Church towards a globalist agenda

The Catholic church is globalist by its very nature. White nations and nationalism are literally the result of globalist, universalist aspirations by church and crown being rejected in favour of popular self determination.

The Papacy is in fact the longest existing globalisation agency on the planet. Global domination and homogenization of doctrine is the G O A L of the organisation.

Get your terms right.
>>
>>138959554
90% of Catholics are secretly hoping our next pope is a Robert Sarah-tier conservative. The other 10% are vocal about it. Sarah would work so well, he's smart, experienced, African (immune to 90% of criticism) and compares those who support abortion with Nazis. With him in charge the church would be an unstoppable force for good.
>>
>>138961364

Saint John Paul the Great was a great leader. We were fortunate to have such a person shepherd us in our lifetime. But, as with all things, we'll have some winners and some stinkers.
We can take comfort in the fact that God will always provide for His Church. His grace administered to us through the Sacraments of the Holy Mass and Confession can keep us afloat through any tribulations of this world.

>The Catholic church is globalist by its very nature.

https://en.oxforddictionaries.com/definition/globalism

"The operation or planning of economic and foreign policy on a global basis."

The pope isn't the leader of a state outside the Vatican so there is no operation or planning of foreign policy. Now if you say that the church referencing the common good and calling for it everywhere (in varying degrees and respects) is being globalist then anyone holding objective moral values that transcend nation could be considered globalist, which no one would claim. The Catholic Church is, by its nature, not globalist.

>White nations and nationalism are literally the result of globalist, universalist aspirations by church and crown being rejected in favour of popular self determination.

This begs the question.

It's relative of course, in some ways it's simple, in other ways one can make/find it complex.
Your post makes me remember the proverb:
Too many cooks spoil the broth.
Perhaps it's not the dish that we should follow solely, but also make dishes of our own with the ingredients given, like the bible and such.

But communicating and sharing with others is also important, and I don't know all answers either, but I do believe that the journey towards the answer is of similair importance as the answer in itself.
>>
Orthodoxy was smarter in general since we made our religious hierarchy more decentralized meaning that almost every Orthodox country has its own national church. Of course all the churches are united but each church is also responsible for the defense of the interests and safety of its flock. That happens because the spiritual leadership comes from the people of the country. If anyone of you is interested on becoming an Orthodox, you are more than welcome to join us.

The Catholic ways of traditionalism and willingness to (literally) fight evil which is anything/anyone that goes against traditional/old Catholic doctrine.
>>
>>138963334
Calling the standing Pope a heretic, as a Catholic, is literal heresy. We believe that it is impossible for the Vicar of Christ to incorrectly speak ex cathedra. Don't conflate Francis's comments or even personal theological opinions as Church Doctrine.

If you are a Catholic reading this thread, maybe it is time to investigate Orthodoxy? I used to be a Traditionalist Catholic. I didn't look too deeply into Eastern Orthodoxy because I was so immersed in Catholic apologetics when I experienced my religious reawakening that I was willing to except the glib Catholic talking point that Orthodoxy can't be 'truly universal' because it is organised as a series of national churches.

But what you find in Catholicism is that you have to keep creating increasingly complex mental gymnastics to reconcile your beliefs with all the heresy and corruption you see in the Vatican and by the Catholic bishops.

Once you accept Orthodoxy, it becomes obvious that you don't need some crazy sedevacantist conspiracy theory to explain everything that is happening: the Catholic Church is just an imposter and it sold out a very long time ago to the world.

The problem is that Catholicism emphasises authority at the expense of orthodoxy, which makes Catholics too obedient and passive. So you are expected to just sit there and take it when you have bishops holding conferences with LGBT activists and academics who support abortion. Catholics need to get up off their asses and cause some mayhem. You cannot tolerate homosexual orgies taking place in the Vatican. Burn it down.

Although I am Orthodox now, I agree with about 99 percent of Catholic moral teachings and I am very grateful for Pope Paul IV publishing "Humanae Vitae" condemning artificial contraception. This was an important watershed in the culture war.

i always hate when they bring that up because it doesn't make any sense, the catholic church also has so called "national churches", see "eastern catholic"

if their argument is the fact that orthodoxy has no strong central authority( a pope) then they need to look into christianity before the schism and see that that's how the church has always been organized

the power of the pope is something that grew gradually after the fall of the western empire

Nope. Your own canon law means that the act of disagreeing with the pope over doctrine makes you a heretic. Also, since Vatican II, all matters relating to social justice are ipso facto held to be matters of doctrine.

Voris hates sedes.
All traditionalists hate sedes.

They deny the doctrine of the unbroken line of Popes that was outlined at the first Vatican council.

They aren't Catholic. They are a group of people who reject Christs living Church and hold on to dead things. Just like proddies
