I don't know if it does or doesn't but Europe's demographics don't match ours. We have a lot of people running around making life changing decisions based of their feelings in that particular moment. I live in NC. I think it's 18 here. I was fine with that until I learned a 16 year old can be tried as an adult, even go to prison for nonviolent crimes and be a lifetime felon, no record seal at 18.
Finding that out the hard way makes me think if they are old enough for fucking prison they can fuck whoever they want.
Either lower it to 16 or stop destroying 16-18 year olds lives in criminal court as adults. One or the other.

Law is set in place to protect children of exploitation and abuse. Why would the large majority of people (the non-pedophiles) change any laws that where set in place with effort to protect when the only people who want to change those laws are pedophiles.
