This is one positive way of looking at it. The immigrants hit in a huge wave and it clearly takes years for western countries to realise that they don't assimilate, that they bring a shitload of trouble and are a huge expense and a burden on society, that they bring unrest and terrorism, and that the lovely "we are all equal and every human has the same rights if they are on our soil" principles are, unfortunately, completely unsustainable if there's too many 3rd worlders coming in.

So now we're slowly waking up to reality and hardening our attitudes and realising what's at stake, and seeing for this generation at least that open borders and taking in the needy just cannot be done

Where to begin? Firstly, I was born in Salisbury, Rhodesia. No true Rhodesian or white Zimbabwean has any loyalty or respect for the Royal Family. Cowards, all.

Secondly, I probably know more about foreign aid and its negative benefits than most. I have two relatives left in South Africa. They are old, and count the days preying for death to take them.
