Antifa is literally non-existant in Russia (and rest of the Eastern Europe, when we are at it. They start to be mentionworthy on the borders of the Germany). There are of course still some lone activists and few of their bands, but those are utterly marginal. The most famous local Antifa band, "Moscow Death Brigade" isn't even able to play single gig without a HUGE police presence and still their people get stabbed and/or beaten, sometimes even to death.

Ukraine is fucked up bad, so it is obvious that political extremes are liked by the people. It is usually the left, but in the Ukraine it was extreme right, which is quite popular. Even better, among most of the people; both common folk and intellectuals.

Format 18's leader, Tesak, was sentenced to 10 years of prison this year. He was stupid enough, back in 2013, when he was first put on the wanted list, to choose to escape not to Ukraine where he would've been welcomed, but to Cuba, from where he had been extradited to Russia. Many of others did escape for Ukraine though and were fighting in Ukrainian volunteer battalions during the Donbass war. Most of them consider (although not without reservations) the current Ukrainian government as a real nationalist opportunity to Russian "KGB regime" or whatever they call it.

Football hooligan "firms" that used to be hotbeds of Neonazi sentiment back in the 90s and 2000s in Russia are now effectively under the FSB control.
