I did some minor research on this (Leaf with Scottish ancestry)

They require your parents marriage certificate and the birth certificate of the parent that the jus sanguinis applies to, as well as ~1000 gbp for the "processing".

Then they give you da passport(citizenship) and I guess you can come and go as you please.

Though if you live there you would be required to pay applicable taxes and fees associated to the government.

Pretty sure with this new immigration scheme they have going, anybody could claim jus sanguinus nowadays though.

I don't really know how they would define it unless by a certain number of Generations that precede your blood relative of that countries origin.

The French don't allow dual-citizenships.

The law changes from year to year and from country to country.

One of my aunts has the italian citizenship the other couldn't get it because she was born one year before they changed the law.
