However, most of the warming is not due to the greenhouse effect directly, it's due to a "Positive feedback loop" where an increase in temperature in CO2 would lead to more water vapor in the atmosphere (a very strong greenhouse gas) which in turn would lead to higher temperatures.

Whereas heating due to CO2 is well understood, heating due to the positive feedbac which is assumed in all alarmist models is not.
