So here's the thing guys. When the moon blocks the sun it focuses the light near the edges during the start and finish. This intensifies the energy hitting your retina. The most important time to wear your protection is at the end when the Sun becomes exposed again. Your pupils will be wide open because it's dark, combine that with the intensified light and instant UV exposure and you will be FUCKED. Don't do it. There are people who did it as a kid and now their eyes are fucking wrecked.
