Having said all that I think eventually the Chinese will start manipulating our government to prevent the second scenario because they stand to lose a lot.

I vacationed in Toronto and all week the hottest news was how hard the logging industry - one of Canada's main industries and largest exports - was getting shafted by new restrictions being put in place.

Best case scenario is if certain regions like the Maritimes or Prairies break away into their own countries away from the control of Toronto, Vancouver and Ottawa. Maybe that way at least one or two authentic Canadian nations will still exist.
