I'll try to explain:
Americans don't actually thinking killing people is wrong. That's our justification for legal abortion, which briefly resulted in legal partial-birth abortion in all 50 states before the South banned abortion for viable fetuses -- ones that can survive outside of their mothers. We don't even have a Much different than Europe, where you legalized abortion based on outdated pseudoscience that rationalized that it wasn't killing, after outlawing the death penalty. Even hard left states like California support the death penalty, and we would've executed him had he been captured alive.

So when you couple the fact we don't see any problem with killing him with the fact he did a photo-op where he supposedly commanded the operation in person, and a claim that the US got a huge amount of intelligence from his hideout, he basically got fervor as if he killed Hitler from less-informed voters.

But then it turned out that basically, Bush did it, as the information was attained via waterboarding. And from there, more shit came out, and there was the scandal where everyone could obviously tell there was a cover-up...it didn't have an impact quite as much as it could have had, but it helped change the tone of the election from anti-terrorism (which favors Republicans) to a variety of things that the Democrats were able to use to their advantage, largely by means of lying, e.g. "20 years of tax evasion" and the tax returns scandal, which is ironically what resulted in Trump's tax returns not being taken seriously, "Romney will kill Big Bird." and other unimportant drivel that rallied nonwhites and youths who took it seriously to the polls, while Romney refused to go more hardline on issues that are more about rallying the base like abortion, which caused decreased turnout on his part, causing him to lose at least Iowa, and possibly Florida.

But no, Obama was a horrible President, and all killing Osama did was improve Obama's rep with whites.

There is no evidence they support ISIS and never has been. The best anyone can do is point to FSA who defected and the odd airstrike against Assad forces.

Did anyone else kinda root for ISIS at the start when they were rampaging through the Middle East and closing in on Baghdad? Just purely because of the chaos they caused and all the cool HD footage they were releasing.
