No cohesion ultimately kills any ideology, so it did with communism over and over and capitalism also has its flaws because of it (aka wallstreet capitalism). The main difference between capitalism and communism is how long it took certain individuals to create loopholes for draining ressources. Capitalism is just more resilient to human nature than communism ever was.
