Corporations are led by people, people with individual motivations and incentives.
I'd rather be able to take full responsibility for my actions than having to go through some tedious democratic process which ends in me taking financial responsibility for steps that I don't agree with.
In a communist state it doesn't matter what you want or don't want, your resources are allocated and you have no room for any freedom of choice which leads to massive waste through central planning that ignores all price mechanics.
