Why do communists always have to portray capitalism as turning people into cogs in a machine or churning people into capital or turning people into profits or some other dehumanising bullshit phrase?

I saw this after molymeme made a video about it: https://www.fastcompany.com/40439316/are-you-ready-to-consider-that-capitalism-is-the-real-problem

You're going to have to work because food has to be produced. There isn't any way around it at all, in any system, regardless of policy. Also, profit is obtained by helping other people most efficiently, and maximizing shareholder value grows productivity and, at the end of the day, makes it so you work less for the same amount of food, and you can't keep wages the same forever because someone else will outcompete you.

It's basically "why does everything cost money, is capitalism unfair?"
>>
Funny isnt it, because communism treats people the same way. Sees them as units of economic value. It is an archaic industrial era rebellion against corrupt capitalism.
>>
Because you are working for your company who you might not really care about. That's the cog in the machine part. Communism is a workers philosophy where the more work you do the richer you become. I don't get where you are getting the "everything cost money part", that isn't going to change under communism. Capitalism is only unfair because of how owners of capital sometimes exploit their ownership to make a profit off workers labour.

Why do you say that? Communism is supposed to be very individualistic, to each according to his ability to each according to his need.

>the more work you do the richer you become is communism not capitalism

>"Yeah, okay, every single socialist revolution ultimately lead to an oppressive, authoritarian society with intermittent purges and gulags, but trust us, we'll get it right next time!"

If more communists were like you then I might be more friendly. I just cannot go for the collectivist nonsense. I feel that the ownership of property is a right of each individual, and is an extension of the sovereignty and dignity of each individual. Taking away this right so that all may benefit seems to me to be dehumanizing.

No really, communism benefits the worker far more than capitalism. Under capitalism you could theoretically make millions just by owning capital and sitting around. Communism just wants to end exploiting capital to make riches, instead having to put in work

That's thanks to women flocking in mass to communism.
They ruin everything and turn it against itselft in less than a generation.

all of you teenagers need to be rounded up and punched in the head until you think straight again

Not really because that capital gets invested or loaned by a bank to a business which then gets used to hire more workers or upgrade their computers or their offices or etc so they make more money with the same amount of work. It's still ultimately beneficial to the workers. Also, if the money is being invested, it's obviously not being spent by the rich guy for years.
>>
>>138241598
Its not collectivist though, the goal is to promote the individuals interest not a class interest. Also ownership of property is not the same as ownership of capital. Ownership of property goes on under Communism, you just aren't able to exploit it to make a profit anymore.
>>

It's like trade unions andstuff, I could see the point back when we were emerging from the industrial era but we don't live in an age anymore where we have moustache-twirling, top-hat wearing, monocled villains with whips. The last MAJOR strike in the UK was retarded - the 1980's miner's strike. Some of these oppresed comarades were so hard done by., they had to sell their shares during the strike.
Yes. Shares. In one of most modern mining companies at the time. Does that sound like whip-cracking capitalist exploitation to you?
Ungrateful cunts.

How could an ideology that gives the individual more freedom to live their life how they choose anti-individualistic?
>>
>>138242026
>you just aren't able to exploit it to make a profit anymore.
thats not individualism then
>>
>>138242211
CEOs don't deprive workers of their freedom but taking their money deprives those CEOs of theirs.
>>
To be fair, capitalism is fine and A-ok in itself.
The banking institution are not.
They are the source of ALL our suffering.
