Because they're forcing people to pick a side. It's like saying you're either crips or bloods. How about both sides can fuck off. Any student of history can see what is going on here. The greater threat is the side given political legitimacy by the media. Fighting back? I don't know, from what i've seen, Antifa shows up at right wing/conservative events, and try to shut it down, or intimidate the people on the other "side", and calling them nazis, fascists, etc... (Don't know, if it's 100% true, or not, i'm not from the U.S).
BTW, what i find extremely funny about Antifa, that they claim themselves some sort of freedom fighter superheroes, while their fighting strategy is the following: They always attack from behind, with their faces covered up, and only strong, when they outnumber the "enemy" at least five times. I was at a rally today as an observer. I wanted to see what was going on for my own eyes.

And what i saw was peaceful right wingers, peaceful left wingers. And then antifa running around starting fights and causing trouble.

I was standing in the lefty crowd when they surounded me trying to intidate me.

This was only a few hours ago and yet to feel even remotely triggered by these hooligans
