My grandmother's Sami Wedding Spoon has a swastika on it. I have a curio cabinet full of Finnish mementos passed down to me.

I had everything on display in my dining room and had a party. A friend's date turned out to be Jewish and freaked the fuck out about the Wedding Spoon. I tried to explain it was a Sami symbol, made a decade before Nazis stole it, was thousands of years old and the importance to our Shamans. She wouldn't hear any of it and branded me a Nazi.

Sure enough, my boss called me into the office on Monday to explain myself.
