Declare the Republican Party a failure to the right and vow to push it to the "center" (which I view, essentially, as a giant Middle ground Fallacy anyway) and claim the right in its stead. What is means on the downside is say goodbye to any chance of a increase on tax for the super-wealthy to pay for infrastructure. That's gone with Bannon.
