I'm a centrist too but I have no choice but to side with right wingers. For example, I think gays being allowed to marry and do whatever straight people do is fine, but there needs to be an acknowledgement of why homosexuality is looked down upon. However, what lead to gays getting married has then lead to trannies chimping out over the smallest things like pronouns, which lead to pedos openly suggesting that they be allowed to voice their opinions too. Something right-wing people have said would happen even though I hoped it wouldn't.

Nationalism is also understandable and I think it's a great cause, but left wingers turn it into a bad thing while also promoting the same groups who are extremely radical in their own dogma.
