> Rapidly growing economies
> Unbelievably massive (1 billion+) labor pools
> Industrializing, so labor pools can be put to use from non-industrial jobs
> China has an authoritarian utilitarian government and is actually pursuing stuff like genetic engineering which will make their average population better than any other one in the world

No way india is overtaking China, they have an inefficient government and massive starvation/poverty. China on the other hand doesn't need to bother with gibsmedats and all that and very well could surpass us.

> Automation will happen immediately
> Cheap labor costs don't make using humans in currently poorer countries like them viable at the moment
> China won't genetically engineer people so that the average person is of a dramatically higher IQ and is actually capable of doing IT style jobs, engineering, physics, etc. meaning they can cope well with post-automation

kek, we're now about 0.34 trillion, how do we make it to 6 trillion in 33 years?
>>137874439
slight exponential growth, which is how virtually all economies grow.
>>137874793
we need growth about steady 9.1% of growth for the incoming 33 years to achieve that

until chyyna can get its mainlanders to stop shitting in public in international tourist places and until india can get itself a working sewage system
i'd say they don't have a chance of being anything other than what they are right now, i.e., third tier

Is your population growing? A growing population + a relatively poor economy (compared to things like first world economies) is a recipe for fast growth.
9.1% is insane and probably impossible but I checked it out and Egypt's fertility rate is 3.5 births per woman, which would result in a much larger population circa 2050.
meme India and China into a war with each other
caosh ish a laddaahh

labour in india is still cheaper than automation

You do know that popping babbies to raise gdp is guaranteed either, right?
Africa is popping out so many that the gdp raise is not fast enough to keep up and everybody is getting poorer
China will stop growing because they don't consume anything. Their population will be very old very soon because of the 1 child policy.
There will be a revolution in China before there is one in the US

Yes but Egypt isn't like that, it's both at least a somewhat competently run country and the people are of much higher average compared to Sub-Saharan Africa.

*much higher average quality
