The President has a habit of calling out companies in tweets, often causing massive drops in share prices, and today was no exception. At 3:32 a.m., President Trump made this tweet, "Amazon is doing great damage to tax paying retailers. Towns, cities and states throughout the U.S. are being hurt - many jobs being lost!"

The biggest detail in all of this by the way is how close amazon is getting to having a large portion of it's system automated, which is huge because at this moment the way it all works they have to employ a fuck huge number of people in order to run the logistics of sending billions of packages all over the united states, the second truck drivers become automated though, the second warehouses are run with minimal human involvement that all changes, and trying to avoid that because of this idea that people need jobs even when it's the most efficient method is near sighted thinking.
