Why is this so hard to grasp? It's like admitting the truth somehow might open the door for more truth to slip past their filters. Simple plain to see truths like men are men and women are women, the type of truths we've been denying for too long. It's as is admitting one truth might wake you up and we can't have that.

The difference is that it is illegal to fly the nazi flag in germany and not illegal to fly the flag in America.
I don't really see an issue here. My brother-in-law is a brit that jumped ship right before the shit hit the fan over there. He still has his left-UK POV about things, and it is interesting to talk about politics with him.
He said that people shouldn't be allowed to display the nazi flag in public because of the way it causes people to react.
The major disagreement was:
Brit: The laws should factor in human behavior. If people react negatively to a stimulus, then it should not be allowed.
Me: The laws should interfere with a person's actions as little as possible. People are responsible for themselves and if someone has a poor reaction to my legal expression, they should be responsible for it.
