Here is my take on all of this as a bi-racial person (Non- : African, Hispanic, Hebraic)...

A) There have been almost no great historical tragedies since 9/11 to tie this country together. Nor have we had a international nemesis on the scale of what we had during the Cold War to divert our aggression/fear as a nation.

B) I also believe that during these last few decades there was an general lack of entitlement. When we were growing-up we were expected to work for our allowance - there was no entitlement or handouts. Now days, at the school I work at the kids EXPECT and DEMAND that they be given everything for free because they are SPECIAL - and if they do not get what they will unleash hell.

C) Also our economy has been on the decline until just recently - and when the blue people believe that the green people have more financially/materially, bad things start to happen.

D) Also, certain populations of people seems to be on the decline (either real or imagined - not quite sure). So the defensiveness of those groups of people seems to be increasing, which until now was unimaginable.

C) Due to above it seems to me that as of recent most of the ethnic groups in the United States are starting to instigate each other and picking fights. However, its not just ethnic groups but whole social classes - Reminds me of what happened before the fall of Rome...

You need to realize that this isn't a race issue per se. This is a major escalation of a culture war between the left and right in America. The left is convinced they are on the cusp of final victory (see all the articles writtwn over the last few years about a "permanent Democratic majority). Trump startled them by winning, but they think they can overcome that with sheer aggression and built-up institutional power.

Racial strife has been the big gun of the Democratic party nearly since its inception. They've changed which colors they say are good and bad, they've added a dozen other demographic categories to the mix in the end, it's the same divide-and-conquer stuff.

I'm pretty sure they're wrong. I think they're already pushing things way too far. This week they tried a out a very explicit version of something they've been practicing subtley for a long time. They said, "Our enemies are Nazi-Klansman-monsters. All of them, not just some. Any tactic is acceptable against such people. It's ok to attack them in the streets. It's ok to threaten their families and employers. If you disagree, you're a Nazi too and desereve the same." This is an attempt to intimidate people into compliance on a massive acale. It looked a little like it might work, even against Trump himself. I think it worked in the sense that it frightened a lot of people and made them think, "If I say anything against them, I might be next." I also think that's why it will fail.

They're making people perceive the radical left as a bigger threat than Nazis. That's the point of course, but it's also the reason it will fail. This is driving the most extreme of the left (and not a few relative moderates) to do things that scare and anger ordinary people. That's much worse than getting blamed for rare serious violence by a few extremists (which is happening to both sides anyway).

The short answer is, too many people across the social and political spectrum have become aware of the 1% and what their neoliberal economic agenda has done to the country over the last 30 years - especially since NAFTA passed in the 90s - and are starting to organize to fight against it. So, the 1% have decided to start a civil/race war to head it off while they scoop up the last of the money and split. After all, they can live anywhere.

It's simple. Poor black families pass racism down to their children. Its much easier to blame whites for being poor than it is to learn a trade or go to school and get a better job to improve your families lives.
This is only made worse by entitlement programs, politicians and a media industry that fans the flames.
