Probably Sam Harris. It's difficult to listen to Ben Shapiro without cringing every time he discusses either the alt right or the inherent value in life (I'm pro abortion and Shapiro and his ilk seem to be opposed to it even when the baby's gonna come out a fucking potato) and it's similarly difficult for me to listen to Harris every time he discusses guns or Trump. That said, both of them are generally reasonable people and if you want a perspective that's really balanced, Ben is a good start from the conservative side.

That said, you should also keep in touch with at least one alt right personality as well, because it's not correct to use a conservative thinker as a proxy for that, obviously. American Renaissance content is best for that. As for the far left, I mostly consume what's shared on my facebook to know what they're thinking.
