Prosecutor always tries to go for the max sentence, claiming stuff which didn't even happen. Don't wanna go into too much detail, but I've been to court 3 times and defended myself because fuck lawyers. Had great judges, and was always able to get out of the situation despite evidence the police presented against me, and prosecutor trying to give me some jail time, by just reasoning with the judge and showing him I'm not really a bad person, after all.

Additionally, if his intent was to take people out, why would he go 25-30 mph rather than 60 or greater? Why would he go straight as people move to the side rather than towards the sidewalk where they have no escape?

The prosecution will utterly fall apart. Their only hope is to essentially swap antifa's behavior with Unite the Right's, rebranding each one with the other's actions.

Even then, the defense will have no trouble picking these points apart. The Jury won't be watching CNN 24/7, so reprogramming them with truth and reality won't be that hard for the defense.
