Many times throughout casual browsing of this board, I have seen numerous claims of Christianity being "red pilled" and "European". In the case of the latter, it was in arguments with pagans for the most part. Yet it is the former I wish to draw attention to, for when you look at the evidence provided on Christianity's "red pilled" nature, you see several glaring flaws in both reasoning and evidence. Let us take a look at some of them.

>The current voting demographic is primarily conservative among Christians.
This is true, however a quick look at the history of votes and candidates, for both presidential elections and lesser ones, show a startling consistency, whether the candidate in question is a paleo-con or a neo-con, the latter leaning more towards an ideology that is oft despised by the right, marked by wars in foreign countries for the sake of oil. If memory serves, these actions are disliked by much of /pol/, for they are fueled by naught but greed.
This shows at best an apathy towards political discourse, where the citizens in question only vote for one particular party because of tradition. Now tell me, does such political apathy have any business being called "red pilled"?

>It contributed towards the greatness of Europe.
While the contribution towards the world of art Christianity provided cannot be denied, and it's influence had shaped the political landscape of Europe for better or for worse, to judge something based solely on the merits of the past paints a rather inaccurate picture of the movement's status and views today. If we were to do that, then China would be seen as a center of philosophical insight that it was in the far past instead of the literally toxic pit of greed and corruption it is today.
In this modern day, most people who identify as Christian are either ambivalent to politics as a whole, consider themselves moderates (often meaning mostly liberal in social policies), or are outright liberal. No longer are Christians burning heretics at the stake or waging war in the name of God alone, now they are comfortable with modernity and the luxuries it brings.

>It's a European tradition, and is therefore White.
>Currently, it is growing at a faster rate than most other religions.
I wish to tackle these two subjects at once, for the main problem is the same with both.
Again, we must look at the current climate of Christendom instead of the past. Yes, it was a mostly White religion back in it's Hay day, and it is growing, but take a quick look at where it is growing the most. Two areas stand out above the others.
China, a land that only seeks greater profit, turning the religion into what the west has in the best of cases and using it only as a tool in the worse.
Africa, where the spreading of Foreign aid and Christ through modern day missionaries has lead to an idiotic (perhaps clinically retarded) population to accept the religion without second thought. Given the continually worsening condition of the continent, it seems the message hasn't gotten across yet.

These two group are mostly Christian in name alone; they believe in God yet don't follow the instructions laid out by his holy book. They pray for aid yet aren't willing to help others without reward. The rituals and most practices are lost on them. In short, they are the opposite of cultural Christians.
Such followers cannot, in good faith, be called "red pilled" or even decent human beings in most cases. And with Christian growth lagging in the Western world, they soon shall be the majority.

>It brings morality to people/without it there will be anarchy and sin.
This argument equates Christianity as the one true path, yet not only can many religions or ideologies make that claim (If memory serves, almost all do), but such conclusions on morality can be made by a secular mind as well. In addition, as mentioned above, in this modern day morality is seen only in basic terms, with most modern Christians, most modern people, only having it in just large enough amounts to function well in society. If not that, then they get most of their morality from sources other than the Bible (remember, tattoos, smoking, homosexuality, even disrespecting your parents at times are seen as average day behavior in this day and age).
Some will argue these people are not "Real Christians", however this argument falls apart when you see the degeneracy spread throughout the various denominations; The simony and Sodomy of Catholicism, the various problems with the Protestant sects, and other such issues. All these point to Christianity having failed to uphold it's promise of a moral Christian society.

Thus, the question must be asked; can we still, in good conscious, call Christianity a Hope for the Western World? Can we still call it "red pilled" in light of this information? If we cannot do so, then what is the proper course of action to take?
