There's no such thing as being 100% neutral, you're going to lean more to one-side. Centrists just like to say they're neutral because they don't like picking sides, and letting people know what side they agree with more.

I'm a centrist. I don't care about abortions but they shouldn't be paid for. I don't care about LGBT but I don't want rainbow flags flown in my face. I like most races until I don't and then I don't want to be called racist based on my experiences.

as a centrists I just don't favor one side or the other. i still vote on legislative changes but other then that not much else.
