Can anyone who was at the Charlottesville protest tell us how the KKK / actual neo-nazis were treated by the rest of "Unite the Right"?
If Unite the Right physically distanced themselves from the KKK / neo-nazis, this would make important ammunition when arguing that UTR aren't actual nazis.
Literally, all UTR had to do to avoid 50% of media backlash was to physically distance themselves from the people wearing robes and swastikas and doing nazi salutes. That's all they had to do. They should have beat the shit out of the people giving the nazi salute during the march -- the media would have no way of calling them nazis if they kicked out the nazis.

Were the nazis in a different area of Charlottesville? Were there any interaction between UTR and actual nazis? I mean, I assume not because otherwise we'd see a photo of it, but still.

Obviously. But if I can say with 100% certainty that the KKK were never even in proximity to UTR, then I'll have grounds to argue with friends / relatives in favor of UTR.
