"Home schooling" is inaccurate language because it isn't (and shouldn't) be about education "at home". Homeschooling doesn't mean your kids never leave the house. Parents teach together. It's more like community schooling. Which is what schooling should be. It should be parents and teachers who are genuinely, personally invested in the children that they are with. The mother (and the father when possible) should be working with professional teachers to raise and teach students. Schools don't need to be buildings. Schools can be in homes. And when they are dedicated buildings, nobody should be travelling more than walking distance to them.
With family, community and country there needs to be clear distinctions between different people and groups. People need to be personally and directly responsible for their partners, children and property. Hand these things over to the public sector and they will be treated like public property. Some bureaucrat who doesn't even live in your state is responsible for 13 years of your kid's life.

I do not regret a second of it. However, there are some atrocious caveats you must consider, should you decide to go this route:
- Your child will become socially awkward
- Your child will (statistically) learn faster than public schooled children.
- Your child will (depending on how much more of the truth you feed them compared to public school) have a hard time maintaining friendships

It has ruined, and saved, my life. Just keep in mind, it's almost an equal ratio of problems solved to problems created, not just the ones listed above.

For all the claims of homeschool leads to autism: partially true. I was homeschooled until high school, was a sperg freshman and sophomore year, better junior, better senior, and after going through college I'm completely fine (inb4 you're here, I'm married have kids and have friends now). I went from someone who was extremely popular at school, had a fuck-ton of friends, had no anxiety problems; was able to attract bitches like nothing, my first day at high school I had this one slut that wanted me to touch her tit (i think it was to get back at her ex or some shit I dunno) - and that's not even the worst.
