He already knows, as a white kid, he has to work ten times harder because the minority kids in his class, even though they have worse grades, have a better chance of getting his place in his "reach" college than he does. His parents have drummed this into him. At dinner they ask him about school and he mentions they had a "diversity" discussion about Black Lives Matter and they ask, "Well, did your teacher ever say 'All Lives Matter?' NO! he says. His parents, who taught him he was special, tell him it's okay to be nice to gay people, or the kids in his class on financial aid, but remind him that "diversity" is just another word for "special rights." They advise him how to survive his "liberal" school: just stay quiet and smile at the teacher--you need that "A" for your GPA. Did you finish your USC application, or your UVA app? This is so fucking wrong it's laughable. I was top 10 in my class in high school and towed liberal politics you until my sophmore year in college and lived in an off campus apartment. What turned me against the progressive narrative and the wonders of diversity was having to live in a truly diverse area. I grew up insulated from it, there were poor white people that I hung out with growing up but they were no where close to as bad as Latinos and blacks. I learned first hand these token "molinorities" we are supposed to help give absolutely zero shits about white people and will boast how much they hate us. I woke up to what is actually happening, that the country my fathers faught to build was being given over to a new people, and my people, white people, were rolling over and letting it happen.
I tried to exist in a progressive paradigm, but reality doesn't conform to their narrative. Their ideas don't survive contract with the pavement, and if I want to see my people continue then I need to change tactics. These ideas aren't built in online echo chambers the same way communist and antifa rhetoric is, these ideas are viruses that manifest in the back of your mind until you're too sick to pretend the world isn't being destroyed around you. My dad is a neocon and my mom a life long democrat, they didn't raise me to become the way I am. My teachers did by lying to me for 18 years, media did by trying to convince me what I was feeling wasn't normal, and the world did by letting me see the truth after the veil on reality was lifted. There is no stopping this. No stomping it out, and the harder you try to silence us the louder we become.

What made me "hate" is the realization that "equality" (among all the other liberal platitudes) is a fucking farce. "Equality" means surrendering power/"privilege" that we, as a people, EARNED through hundreds of years of struggle.
