You're more likley to see people eating cheddar, mozzarella, provolone, ect in the US than you are to see them eating "American Cheese"

I think the most popular cheeses in the US are probably Cheddar and Monterrey Jack -- they aren't prestigious, but as far as lactose content they are real cheeses unlike American cheese singles which are some processed shit that probably doesn't even contain milk.

Most African blacks yes although lactose tolerance also evolved independently up in the North-East of Africa much as it did amongst the ancestors of Europeans and also a third time amongst some Middle Easterners - all due to traditionally cattle herding communities.

American Blacks average about 20% White ancestry so that should result in them being less likely than pure blood African Blacks to be lactose intolerant.
