Few reasons

It is massive egg on the police faces for what is most likely gross negligence of maintenance of the chopper or that the pilot was a cowboy faggot flying far too low and fast who lost control. Either way it reflects very poorly on the police that already have negative reputation in the current climate.

Now add the fact the cops don't want to admit they fucked up and that pointing out there were other white deaths that had very loose connections distracts from the EVIL WHITE PEOPLE narrative they are attempting to spin.

So far we have a kike driver, a white women deceased, and two white police dead. This does not really help the white supremacy angle to they are being vague and just mentioning the "white supremacy" unite the right protest the night before ANY of this shit happened to not directly name but misdirect the blame.
