Have you noticed that most of the time Trump makes a speaking mistake like tripping over his words he stops himself abruptly and says "and really I mean this so much" or something along those lines". It seems like its something he does to handle his mistake by making it seem like he just wanted to go off script and say that he really meant it.

I wasn't bashing Trump for that. I think it's a good public speaking technique to play off his mistakes by making them look natural. I'm just pointing out that I noticed he does it a lot
