>Literally presided over the collapse and fall of the USSR
>Launched and easily won a popular war in Iraq
>Inheritor of Reagan's legacy
How the hell did he lose his re-election bid?

Too much right wing. The pendulum had to swing from one ZOG machine to another.

He led the operation that killed Kennedy. Works for (((them))).

Let's compare two one term presidents.
>James K. Polk
>Greatest us president
>Promised to annex Texas and complete manifest destiny and lower tariffs
>Annexes Texas, new Mexico, Arizona, Utah, Nevada, other states into the union and lowers tariffs
>George
>Promised not to raise taxes
>Does anyways
Not rocket science.
>Tfw no president Perot nor Buchanan
Feels bad man.
>>137048010
This.
>>137047011
A lot of people like to say that Ross Perot cost Bush Sr. his reelection, but the truth is that Bush Sr. lost in '92 for the same reason that Hillary lost in '16. The country has aspirations and anxieties and neither of those cadidates were able to channel the concerns of voters into a compelling case for their leadership. And in the case of Hillary Clinton, her personal qualities didn't help.
>>137048010
Came here to say exactly this.
>>137048010
Not to mention he trusted the Democrats
>I'll pass this tax increase, then you pass my legislation
>passes tax increase, democrats renege
>>137050237
You can always make a story why any candidate is good or bad. But the numbers were with GHWB until Perot stepped into the race -- then stepped back out when he might have won, to hand it to Bill Clinton.
>>137047011
Raised taxes, economic downturn, LA Riots, and Democrats especially Bill Clinton switched to Third Way politics.
Now you have your answer.
>>137052139
Addendum: Ross Perot also screwed the pooch for the political right.
>>137049671
who in your family landed a dive bomber on a carrrier in ww2? the bush family are legit american aristocracy. i would trade my life for his. fuck you.
>>137047011
He was clunky, raised taxes after saying he wouldn't very publically and Ross Perot.
>>137050147
There is more to the story see below.
Raised taxes, economic downturn, LA Riots, Ross Perot and Democrats especially Bill Clinton switched to Third Way politics.

Ross Perot

Addendum: After the collapse of the USSR the nation wanted to turn the page of the politics of the Cold War era which meant looking for new blood in leadership.
>>137047011
he was a shill nigger faggot. his blood was determined to have a fair amount of nigger in it. his great grand mother burned a lot of coal

>Literally presided over the collapse and fall of the USSR
Yeah, and his fucking retarded dealings and the way he did things with what was left are still issues we're dealing with today.
>Launched and easily won a popular war in Iraq
Congrats, but did he truly end? Sure we succeeded with our invasion but are constantly having to go back in to make sure it doesn't fucking collapse.
>Inheritor of Reagan's legacy
Bush HATED Reagan, the first thing he did was fire everybody who ever worked WITH Reagan, this is well documented and known.
>>137052357
Allen Dulles faggot, the guy and his family are loaded into every Globalist niche you can think of, Brother is CFR, Rockefeller Foundation front man, cousin is a Jesuit at an establishment university.
Dulles himself had motive to kill Kennedy when he was removed by him. Dulles also had a resume of deposing state governments with Anglo-American shills. Even more this did not stop (((them))) from putting Dulles on the Warren commision to vet CIA against questioning, or the obvious conflict of interest in his position there
Serious burger,
>why does everyone but you faggots know your own history

Expanding on recent addendum. The so called peace dividend was effective in helping to push George H. W. Bush out of office and usher in Bill Clinton.
Thank God George H. W. Bush was at the helm during the collapse of the USSR he kept Europe from going up in a conflagration from communist hardline elements in Russia and former soviet bloc nation states.
My only big gripe was G. H. W. Bush not sticking it to China and pushing them to collapse during the Tiananmen Square protests of 1989. This period of time could have seen the roll back of Red China as Communism was failing globally. A really big missed opportunity there to grow freedom.

"No New Taxes" and "New World Order". Also, just kind of bland - except when he was puking on the Japanese PM. Not much enthusiasm for a large voter turnout, and a supposedly centrist Bill Clinton (his literal partner in crime) was the Democrat opponent. Ross Perot took a huge amount from the Republican voter base - and might have actually won if he had not withdrawn, then re-entered the race.
Because he was a Bush
>>137052139
Crime was a massive issue back then that people seem to forget about. I have a stack of US News and World Report magazines from the early 90's that I bought from a library for a few dollars, and back in 1991 and 1992, crime was a MASSIVE issue.
The LA riots were in April/early May of 1992, and the election was a few months later in November. Those riots were a symbol of how crime had gotten out-of-control under Bush. There was also a forgotten serial murderer known as the "I-70 Killer" who was active at that time and created something of a panic.
Remember, Bill Clinton campaigned on hiring 100,000 more cops to fight the crime that Bush Sr. had failed to control. He ran on a tough-on-crime platform and slammed Bush constantly on this issue.
>>137047011
How the fuck did he get elected in the first place
who trusts a CIA spook?
>>137047011
because he fucking lost in iraq, that much became evident
>"OH SADDAM IS FINISHED"
>"he's going to be overthrown by an uprising"
>"we destroyed the entire iraqi army!!"
In reality they'd bombed empty desert for a month and moved in against empty desert and the iraqi army was largely intact after the war, enough to crush the entire uprising.
The americans completely overstated their victory and hugely exaggerated enemy losses for public media consumption.
Combine this with the media footage of Iraqi government crushing "muh poor innocent moderate rebels", the american public soon became aware they'd been duped over their "victory" and that the talking of saddam's imminent fall was bullshit. Meanwhile the U.S. declared a ceasefire and withdrew while Saddam swiftly regained control over the country.
It was pretty much a defeat for the U.S. and a win for saddam, that's why Bush lost the election.

JFK assassination got memory holed mate

Yup. The LA riots had a huge impact. So many anons do not know there history.
>>137053124
Because of the democratic candidate was weak as hell. He ran against Michael Dukakis. Dukakis said he would not seek the death penalty if a man raped and murdered his wife during the debates. Progressives got BTFO for 12 years of Republican rule 8 years of Third way rule, 8 years of Neo-con rule. That is how bad Dukakis was for the progressives. They did not recover till Obama.
Bush took him to pic related.
