Why not just create a system around people not being necessary for the means of production instead of trying to prop up capitalism with an inflationary UBI? It would be more efficient to pay people based on self improvement such as attending university, volunteering, training, and staying healthy. It would also be cheaper to publicly finance the costs UBI is meant to pay for and for anything extra you will still have to contribute to society just not with working a job.
