Blizzard was always shit.

Arenas launched in burning crusade and it was possible for both dps to die from dots leaving the healers alive. This creates a no-win situation where you only win when the opponent decides they don't want to waste their time.

This could have been solved in a 24 hour hotfix to include a draw after 20 minutes, or allowing both sides to vote for a draw.

It persisted for months.

This is a company that justified afk farming Alterac Valley as "how that player wants to play the game"

Choosing to not hotfix draw functionality wasted millions of hours of player time. Justifying afks because you don't want to lose their sub revenue and don't want to code in a way to report and handle AFKs.

These are vanilla and BC problems with simple solutions that are ignored. If AFk for honor was acceptable they could have built a room can afk for honor so the battlegrounds have enough active players to kill the general.
