Friday, August 11th, 2017:

President Trump requests the networks give him five minutes for an important address to the nation at 7:30 pm. They reluctantly agree.

At precisely half past seven, President Trump appears on television screens across the nation, and around the world.

He is sitting in the War Room, flanked by Chief of Staff General Kelly and Defense Secretary General Mattie. Out Commander in Chief is wearing a military uniform modeled on that of a Marine Corps general, except it has an improbable six stars, and its trim Is all colored gold.

"Fire and fury," he begins. "Just minutes ago, I ordered preemptive strikes with atomic weapons on the military forces of our evil enemy, North Korea." He leers at the camera and continues. "It's been a few decades since we nuked some gooks, so I figured, let's make up for lost time." The generals exchange a look, Kelly aghast, Mattis mildly amused.

"So I ordered the complete and total glassing of these bad hombres, the Norks, I call them. Real bad hombres. Very bad." He smiles, nods, and begins applauding himself.

"We're gonna do World War Two stuff, but sort of in reverse, folks. First we'll nuke and occupy a defeated Asian foe. Then, we'll open up the camps here at home." The two Stephens, Miller and Bannon, can be heard giggling off-camera.

Trump concludes, "I've got a final message for Little Kim: You're on fire!" The image on the screen immediately switches to a grainy video feed taken by a drone high over Pyongyang. A few seconds later, the screen flashes bright light, then darkness.
