Only very recently since computer jobs, autismbux, and mcdonald's went mainstream have people had to waste their time, energy, and money on diet, supplements, and exercise just to maintain baseline health. You don't need to buy a membership to go to a gym and lift and you don't need to run. Just make physical hobbies a part of your life, moderate intake, and you will quickly notice a difference without feeling like you're doing work

Lifting is honestly gay and for retards unless you're training to throw discus or working on an aesthetic physique. Instead of paying some jew for a chance to share a sweaty bench with a bunch of people and labor heavily in a stagnant room, you could literally be paddling a kayak or something and actually enjoying your world and your life and what your body can do

Although I would add stretching is good because with age you can mess up your posture which is bad in the long term, also regarding blood flow.

The only useful thing about /fit/ anymore, is the sticky, and even r/fitness has a way better sticky now. Choose a sticky, read it, pick a beginner program, and stick with it.

/fit/ used to be a very good place to go for motivation. It was full of people who loved exercising, loved talking about exercising, and loved sharing their love of exercising. Now it's just /r9k/ v2.0. Don't spend any more time in that shithole than you need to.

unironically lost 60lbs being vegan. It's really hard to eat too much when you're just eating beans and vegetables. Gets a really bad rep because it's for nu males but it was the best for me and cheap as fuck.

The one that applies to everyone is to get and stay dynamically active. Don't just fucking hit the weights, don't just fucking run, don't just fucking run.. Do an alternating mix of those and do some fighting training. Boxing, MMA etc.. And don't take a bullshit sit on your ass job. That kills more than smoking and BASE jumping combined.

The rest? Not as cut and dried. It depends on your genetics and background. Foods healthy for some kill other people. For example, corn is fucking killing everyone except those with meso-American genes. If Germans stop drinking alcohol, they drop like flies from coronary disease... Get it?
