Should we advocate for a closer relationship between state and corporation?
>South Korea has it
>The Nazis had it
>Japan had it and still does to an extent
These were and are also successful societies. Should we encourage governments to "interfere" with the free market in order to specialise in certain industries (like hi-tech manufacturing in South Korea)

Only a Brit could be this stupid and weak

>Should we advocate for a closer relationship between state and corporation?
no.
that's called fascism.
and if you like that ideology you're a faggot.
free men require no corporation.

but we're living in a globalised world, and some regions of that globalisation are not playing by the "free market" rules, and so when we compete with them, in the long run we will probably lose
i don't think the economic freedom and liberty upon which the US was founded can survive in the long run when forced to compete with high-IQ non-white/non-western cultures in Asia.

Very shortsighted thinking. Automation is going to destroy "globalization."
All of the manufacturing jobs in developing countries are not going to exist.
These other countries "not playing by the rules" are going to bw the first to fail in the technological singularity.
Whereas we can stick by our principles here in the first world and not be hurt by inevitable automation.

So what is the future when globalisation stops due to automation exactly? Who will we in the west compete with, they will surely grow bigger and eventually take over. First economically, then territorially.
