I like Spencer and have been listening to his podcasts since around 2012, when he did the podcast series with Bowden. Really powerful stuff.

But for me there is an elephant in the room - his Russophilia and disdain for Eastern Europe. This actually applies to most of the Alt Right talking heads, which is ironic, since these countries are the only actual European ethnostates (for example, Latvian constitution has an article about it being a national country for Latvian people).

This actually is not surprising given his connections to the Kremlin. I.e. his wife running RussiaInsider - an RT type shill site and her being an official translator for Dugin.
