If it interests you, let me explain how this works.
Gays, lesbians, transsexuals - a lot of mentally or sexually defective people
exist.
Their IQ, however, is mostly normally distributed just like that of the general population.
Because, seemingly or actually, more and more of those ... alternative people exist,
there are a lot of them who are smart, though emotionally or physically defective.
From their defects they get huge, that is even bigger than in most other people,
inferiority complexes (for example, "gay pride" - normal people react with sheer
disgust to gays, and many gays overcompensate that inferiority with "pride";
other example: Feminists/lesbians - their dramatic insistence that women are as smart
and strong as men is clearly indicative of a deep-seating fear that this may be not truly so).
This is also the reason they are cutting themselves, use tattoos, piercings and other
social or physical self-harm practices - they hate themselves, they are disgusted at themselves, and they punish themselves with those practices on one level, on another
feel "pride" they have those things, in an act of counterfactual defiance.
Therefore, you can usually easily identify mentally/emotionally defective people from their external attributes (weirdly dyed hair, or the above mentioned tattoos and piercings).
They are also often very fat, but deny aggressively that this makes them disgusting
or unhealthy - another obvious coping and defiance mechanism.

Now the important part:
Many of those are still "functional", have high IQs, can work hard, even have some
good degrees.
But because they think of themselves as very inferior because of their mental/physical/sexual defects, they have impossibly low self-confidence from a lack
of self-worth - they only sometimes compensate defiantly in public.
Employers, that is the upper class, has figured out that those people, if you offer them sympathy and "respect" (easy, worthless and fake signalling of course), those
crazies immediately feel connected and very loyal to such employers, out of thankfulness that somebody sees value in them that they see not in themselves, that
somebody seems to "like" them - and they reciprocate- by
WORKING LONG AND HARD FOR VERY LOW WAGES.
Employers get a load of extremely cheap, yet somewhat skilled employees/slaves out of them - and can also push down the wages of regular employees (sane men with roughly the same formal qualification).
BASICALLY, THE CRAZY ONES ARE PAID NOT ONLY WITH MONEY, BUT WITH FAKE RECOGNITION/RESPECT BY THE EMPLOYERS - the "respect" part being the part that is
free for the employer (only hypocritical lip-service) and hugely important for the crazies.

So, it comes down to power and money-
the die-hard capitalistic owners fake "progressiveness/tolerance/diversity" - and
get a huge load of working hours for free or ridiculously cheap.
You could see this strategy, for example, in the recent AAA-Game Mass Effect 4 -
the employ of crazies was immense, their pay ridiculously low. Management hoped to
produce an AAA-title with about 50% of the regular cost due to this.
While the production costs indeed were at a record low (as most employees were cheap feminists/transsexuals and other crazies), unforeseen disadvantage was that their mental and emotional defects found their way into the game's inner structure, leading to disgust for the product at the main customer base (boys and men) for the game, resulting in a huge flop and financial loss.
With Google, if crazies are employed only in technical fields, this disadvantage is not a given, however, because in pure programming mental and emotional defects do not show to the customers of Google - so those emotionally/mentally unstable people are walking "cash machines" for the owners of Google, and therefore the whole "tolerance" agenda
is faked by the management.
